Curriculum Vitae
I have over ten years experience managing, editing and developing websites and intranets for a range of organisations and have a particular knowledge of the voluntary and public sectors. The work I have done has ranged from the nuts and bolts of editing content and coding in scripting languages to project management and giving strategic advice on the best use of new media.
I have a Masters Degree in Multimedia Systems, especially good analytical skills, a high level understanding of organisational structures, information architecture, hypertext design, and content management systems. Recently I have been doing a lot of work building websites with WordPress.
I also have very good communication skills being able to deal with people at all levels of an organisation from senior management to those in the back room. I think I have a particular ability in being able to translate “geek” into “human”.
